Freelance Digital / Social Media Executive or Manager

It’s Nice That is doing an open call to expand our network of freelance talent. We’re on the lookout for freelance digital / social media executives or managers to support our digital campaign manager in delivering brand partnerships and sponsored content across a variety of inspiring creative projects.

Key skills
  • 2+ years experience within social media / digital marketing roles within agencies, media companies or brands
  • Experience responding to agency / brand briefs with digital campaigns
  • A solid knowledge of the digital landscape and how media companies work within brand partnerships and sponsored content
  • Competent copywriter and experience with varied TOV styles
  • Excellent understanding of social creative and what formats work across various types of campaigns
  • A great collaborator, and a passion for producing impactful ideas

Key tasks

  • Develop creative briefs to inform creative teams on social / digital assets to be used across channels
  • Copywriting across organic social captions and paid ad placements
  • Generating media / comms timelines for campaign roll outs
  • Collaborate with editorial and creative teams to develop campaign ideas and how they feed into digital channels
  • Contribute to pitch decks and digital strategy in response to agency / brand briefs
  • Research and contribute to internal strategy docs
  • Join teams on meetings with clients when needed

The Team

It's Nice That works collaboratively across editorial, creative, project management and marketing teams and currently consists of total staff of 16 full time.
